Articles submitted to Stomatos are initially checked for compliance with the present instructions. Articles that do not adhere to these guidelines will be returned to authors for adjustment. The peer review process is blind (authors’ names are not disclosed).

Whenever conflictive comments/decisions are received from the two reviewers, the editor will make the final decision. All correspondence between editor and authors is made via email, including the final comments or decision of the journal’s editorial board (accepted, rejected or revisions needed).

Articles requiring revisions will be returned to the corresponding author for amendment and resubmission within 45 days. Articles resubmitted after this deadline will be treated as new submissions.
