A Constituição Histórica de Diferentes Sujeitos Matemáticos / The Historical Constitution of Different Mathematical Subjects

Resumo

Este artigo procura descrever os diferentes discursos que constituíram historicamente modos de ver a Matemática e o seu ensino, cujos efeitos foram a produção de diferentes modos de subjetivação dos indivíduos. Ou seja, tal subjetivação matemática varia na medida em que o modo de ensinar a Matemática é produzido por diferentes práticas discursivas. A partir de uma perspectiva foucaultiana, coloca sob suspeita a pretensão de discursos que buscam uma homogeneização nas formas de pensar dos indivíduos, comuns num modelo de sociedade disciplinar, trazendo à tona os discursos emergentes na sociedade do controle, sociedade do conhecimento, que, ao contrário da disciplinar, busca salientar as diferenças, tornando possível, através de um enfoque holístico e transdisciplinar, presente na Etnomatemática, a constituição de um sujeito multidisciplinar.

This paper aims to describe the various discourses that historically constituted ways of lookingat Mathematics and its teaching, whose effects were the production of different subjectificationmodes. This mathematics subjectivation varies as the mode of mathematics teaching can beproduced by different discursive practices. From a Foucault’s perspective it puts under suspicionthe pretense of seeking a homogenizing discourse in ways of individual thinking, a common typeof disciplinary society, bringing up the discourses of controlling society, the kowledge society that,opposing to the disciplinary society, aims to highlight the differences and thus making possible theestablishment of a multidisciplinary subject, through a transdisciplinary and holistic focus presentin the Ethnomathematics.
