Despertando o Interesse por Charles Darwin e pela Evolução Biológica através da Investigação Científica / Sparking Interest in Charles Darwin and the Biological Evolution through Scientific Research

Resumo

O conteúdo de evolução é de suma importância para o ensino de Ciências, já nos anos iniciais. O artigo apresenta o emprego de metodologias alternativas que promovam a popularização e difusão da Ciência sobre evolução já desde os anos iniciais e que permitam aos alunos reflexão sobre os episódios históricos e conduta científica que levaram um pesquisador às suas constatações. Visando atender estes objetivos, foi criada uma metodologia lúdica, que simulou o que ocorreu
na viagem de Darwin e possibilitou aos alunos de anos iniciais compreenderem como o cientista chegou às suas conclusões, demonstrando o caminho que o pesquisador transcorre para desenvolver
a Ciência. Para tanto, criou-se um ambiente lúdico onde foi simulada a viagem percorrida pelo naturalista britânico Charles Darwin a bordo do navio Beagle. Durante o trajeto a ser percorrido, foram desenvolvidos ilhas temáticas e foram feitas anotações e desenhos pelos alunos. Os alunos participaram ativamente. Questionavam sobre cada uma das ilhas que passavam e desenhavam tudo que observavam. A análise de diários de bordo preenchidos no decorrer da atividade e os desenhos e textos construídos um mês após a realização da atividade, mostraram que as crianças perceberam a importância de Charles Darwin, como grande contribuinte da Ciência.

The content of evolution is of abridgement importance for the teaching of Sciences, already in theinitial years. The article presents the job of alternative methodologies that promote the popularizationand diffusion of the Science on evolution already from the initial years and that allow to the pupilsreflection on the historical episodes and scientific conduct what they took an investigator to hisobservations. Aiming to achieve these goals, we created a ludic methodology, which simulated whathappened on the trip to Darwin and allowed students from early years to understand how the scientistcame to his conclusions, showing the path that passes the researcher to develop the Science For somuch, a playful environment was created where there was simulated the travel passed by the Britishnaturalist Charles Darwin to side of the ship Beagle. During the course to be passed, thematic islandswere developed and annotations and drawings were done by the pupils. The pupils participated actively.They were questioning on each one of the islands that were passing and drawing everything that theywere observing. The analysis of log books filled out in the course of the activity and the drawingsand texts built one month after the realization of the activity, showed that the children realized theimportance of Charles Darwin, like great taxpayer of the Science.
